The Datatool Battery conditioner is suitable for standard lead acid, sealed and maintenance free 12 volt batteries. It features continuous 4 stage cycle to ensure your battery is always kept fully charged. It will diagnose, recover and charge even semi sulphated batteries, and the easy to use LED system indicates battery condition. The datatool battery conditioner is safe for long all year round connection, and is protected against reversed polarity and short circuit connection, and a built in temperature regulator prevents overheating. It is supplied with two connection leads, one with crocodile clips for bench charging, and another with eyelet type fixing enabling it to be hard wired to the battery.
Stage 1
The Datatool Conditioner charges at the rate of 1.2 amps during the batteries initial bulk charge.
Stage 2
The battery is then held at a charge level of 14.3 volts until it is fully charged
Stage 3
Once the battery conditioner senses the battery is fully charged, the charge rate then drops to 13.6 volts to maintain the battery in a charged state without risk of damage.
Stage 4
Once fully charged, the battery conditioner then continuously monitors the battery, if it detects any voltage drop then it recycles the charging sequences.
